This video is the test footage I used to practise the card effect which was shown in my second short movie Four Of Kind. The reason I wanted to test the effect out was to ensure it would work and run smoothly before I decided to use it in my short movie. All the effect is doing is taking two shots one of someone throwing something and the other person reacting to catching said object and then all you do is precisely cut the video files so they flow and therefore making a seamless cut. The seamless cut adds a dramatic effect to what's happening on the screen by making the audience believe that someone in the same shot has actually caught an object thrown towards them which engaged the audience to the unique effect used.
